With the continuous development of high-tech ceramics, rubber, plastics, catalysts, environmental protection materials, aerospace materials, Magnesium Oxide crystal materials, especially high-purity oxygen materials (magnesium oxide content of not less than 98%) is more and more widely used. For example, it is used in the treatment of patients with hyperacidity and duodenal ulcer, used as a high-temperature annealing isolator in the manufacturing process of silicon steel, used in the manufacture of electronic tubes, filters, color filters, filters and so on. As a sensitive and efficient catalyst and performance body good doping materials, high-purity magnesium oxide has a large number of applications in industrial catalytic and material modification and the preparation of high-performance composite materials.

Molten salt method adopts one or several kinds of low melting point salts as the reaction medium, completes the synthesis reaction in high temperature molten salt, and then adopts the suitable solvent to dissolve the salts, and then gets the synthesized products through filtration and washing, which is widely used in the fields of high melting point oxide powder and electronic ceramic powder and other functional powder material synthesis. Molten salt method has the advantages of simple process, low synthesis temperature, short holding time, low cost, stable and uniform chemical composition of the synthesized powder.
  By comparing different molten salt systems for the preparation of magnesium oxide powder by the molten salt method, it was found that NaCl-KCl salts have moderate melting point and relatively stable performance, NaCl and KCl are dissolved in water during the washing process, and the filtrate is dried to obtain NaC1, KC1 and other salts which can be recycled, and it is a kind of excellent reaction medium.
