Physical Properties

Electromelted Magnesium Oxide is a white, tasteless, odorless, and slightly soluble powder in water. Its chemical formula is MgO, with a relative molecular weight of 40.3. Its melting point is 2852 ℃, with a large specific surface area, good thermal stability, and less hygroscopic. Its hardness is very high, usually reaching 5-6 on the Mohs hardness. It has good electrical insulation performance and is suitable for manufacturing electrical insulation materials. Electromelted Magnesium Oxide has high density, high thermal stability, and good electrical insulation performance, suitable for high temperature, high pressure, and special environments in various industrial applications.

1. Electric fused magnesium oxide tubular heating elements are widely used in household appliances (rice cookers, irons, electric furnaces, etc.) and industrial equipment (forming machines, heat sealing machines, etc.) and other applications.
