Physical Properties
Light burned Magnesium Oxide, also known as light burned magnesia or caustic magnesia, is an important product of magnesia containing minerals after calcination or other processing. It is mainly produced by calcining natural magnesite at 700-1000 ℃. Obtained by firing Magnesium Hydroxide at low temperature.

Light burned Magnesium Oxide (MgO), also known as magnesium oxide, has various industrial applications, including being a basic component of magnesium oxychloride (MOC) cement. Lightly burned magnesium oxide can increase the precipitation level and yield of metals, which makes its performance superior to naturally extracted magnesium oxide products with lower purity and reactivity.


The reaction activity and uniform particle size of lightly burned magnesium oxide can improve the recovery rate of valuable metals such as cobalt, nickel, copper, and platinum. Light burned magnesium oxide can increase the precipitation level and yield of metals, resulting in superior performance compared to naturally extracted magnesium oxide products with lower purity and reactivity.
